If you want a lasting relationship with your customers, you need to shift the focus to your company. More specifically, onto your brand. The top dogs understand the power of branding. When you buy an Apple product, more often than not, you’re buying it based on brand reputation alone. And this is the ultimate goal for any company. For consumers to buy into the brand, its core values and its message.
In this blog, we’ll show you how to transform your brand into one that excites, entices and inspires.
What’s Your Vision?
Consumers look up to brands that are always striving for more. Never mind what you’ve achieved so far. What do you aspire to? Your company vision needs to be at the forefront of everything you do. Not only this, but it needs to be conveyed in a clear and accessible manner. At the end of the day, you want your brand to be synonymous with your vision. As such, how you express it is of utmost importance.
Remember, nobody’s going to buy into a brand that doesn’t know where it’s heading.
Establish Core Values
Closely intertwined with your company vision are your core values. Your vision displays your brand personality to potential consumers at face value. Your core values are what your staff will work and live by. Working out values which are compatible with your company vision is essential. It ensures a fully functional means to an end, as well as brand integrity.
Develop Your Tone
All of your output must be tailored to reflect the values you associate with your brand.
Look at your brand’s tagline. Consider whether or not it’s likely to excite and inspire your audience. Ask yourself if it reflects your company vision. Consider every sentence as another sales pitch. If it doesn’t at least spark curiosity in your audience, think again.
Broadcast Your Brand
It’s both a blessing and a curse that we live in an age where we have so many platforms for promotion. For example, take social media. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr, Pinterest… the list goes on. However, whilst these sites offer vast amounts of marketing opportunities, there’s also a lot of competition.
Just having a presence alone isn’t enough. You need to stand out from the crowd in all you do. Is your logo bold and simple enough to stand out in a Twitter feed? Do you use stock images or bring something new to the table? Do you reiterate news from elsewhere or create your own?
You could try and broadcast your brand on just about every social network possible, but it may be a waste of resources. Scout out each site and figure out which ones best suit your desired demographic.
Consistency is Key
Of course, you’re not purely limited to social media. You’ll likely have your company website and various marketing campaigns in mind. But the key is consistency in everything you do. Reinforce your vision throughout all of your output to truly inspire.
