A collaborative approach that united heritage, contemporary design and luxury retail performance
Hackett London’s previous ecommerce experience no longer matched the quality of the brand. Navigation felt fragmented, mobile performance lagged and the online presentation failed to capture the craftsmanship that defines Hackett’s tailoring and lifestyle collections. Since the internal creative team were responsible for the final visual design, our challenge was to develop a UX framework and interaction model that brought coherence, clarity and a premium feel to every step of the shopping journey. This meant creating storyboards, data informed wireframes and user flows that translated seamlessly into a polished luxury interface.

Luxury UX design shaped through collaboration with Hackett’s creative directors
We produced a full suite of high fidelity wireframes grounded in behavioural insights, conversion data and luxury retail best practice. These wireframes became the blueprint for the final creative direction delivered by Hackett London and Pepe Jeans’ internal designers. Michael Woodward, our Creative Director, worked directly with Hackett’s Creative Director to refine the experience, advise on structure, hierarchy, interaction design and ensure that every layout expressed the brand’s heritage and modern identity with confidence. The result was a clear, elevated and editorial inspired UX foundation that supported the creation of a final design at the standard Hackett’s customers expect.

A Magento platform engineered for performance, scalability and premium retail execution
Beyond UX strategy and creative consultation, we rebuilt the Hackett store on Magento with a modern technical architecture designed to support global growth. Key improvements included faster load speeds, refined product structures, cleaner navigation pathways and better support for international merchandising. Our development team ensured the platform delivered the stability, performance and flexibility required by a brand with a broad, seasonally driven product catalogue. The final experience blends luxury storytelling with an efficient, conversion focused retail engine.

The new experience boosts engagement, strengthens product discovery and enhances brand perception
The reimagined UX and improved Magento architecture has led to deeper product engagement and a more confident shopping experience. Users can explore collections with greater clarity and ease, and internal teams benefit from more efficient workflows and a platform that supports stronger seasonal storytelling. Feedback from Hackett London’s customer base has been highly positive, validating the collaborative process and the refined digital environment created through our partnership.

A partnership built on trust, collaboration and a shared vision for luxury ecommerce
This project demonstrates how strong UX leadership, collaborative creative direction and robust Magento development can elevate a luxury fashion brand. By blending insight driven wireframes, advisory level creative consultation and high performance engineering, we helped Hackett London create an online experience that feels premium, modern and aligned with the brand’s British tailoring heritage. Through ongoing support and optimisation, we continue to help the brand maintain a polished and competitive digital presence.
