This includes streamlined menus, larger tap targets, faster image delivery and a checkout flow designed specifically for mobile conversion. Every stage of the journey aims to reduce friction and keep customers moving forward.

Bringing Icelandic heritage and performance benefits to life
A core part of the proposal is redesigning product pages to offer richer storytelling. Each page will highlight the origins of Icewear’s products, the history of Icelandic wool, the evolution into technical fabrics and the performance benefits of each garment. This approach supports a deeper, more emotional connection while also giving practical clarity for customers comparing jackets, base layers, boots and accessories. The goal is to help customers make confident decisions while feeling immersed in Icewear’s world.

The proposal begins with a complete UX mapping process focused on clarity, exploration and confidence. High fidelity wireframes will define how customers move through categories, discover new products and understand the key benefits of Icewear’s range. The UI direction blends modern outdoor aesthetics with Icelandic heritage, incorporating clean layouts, immersive imagery and subtle references to Icewear’s wool origins. Product pages will adopt a storyboard style that walks customers through materials, insulation levels, use cases and comfort benefits, making each product easier to understand and more compelling to purchase.

Magento 2 performance built to support growth, speed and operational reliability
The proposed build is based on a refined Magento 2 architecture designed for international scalability and stronger performance. Faster load times, improved caching, optimised image handling and structurally cleaner product data layouts will support a smoother customer experience. With the new cutting edge ERP system online, including syncing of product data, stock levels, customer information and order workflows. The new site will build upon this foundation to ensure the system remains stable, flexible and future ready.
